Scope of the Quality and Environmental Management System

 

The scope of Futura’s Quality and Environmental Management System includes the design, development and manufacture of fibre reinforced composites products and assemblies for medical and industrial applications, including parts for MRI systems at the facility in Marconisraat 40, Heerhugowaard, the Netherlands.

 

 

Our main goal is to deliver products that comply with our customer's specifications, products that are fit for purpose and comply with regulatory requirements. In order to achieve this, we continuously monitor and improve our processes with regard of their stability and efficiency. 

 

When required, we subject our products to extensive testing and quality controls. In our facilities, we have the required equipment to carry out the following tests and analysis:

• Fiber volume fraction measurement 

• Glass transition temperature with Differential Thermal Analyser (DTA)

• Coordinate measuring machine (CMM)

• Mechanical tests (tension, compression, flexure, shear)

In accordance with our continuous pursuit of quality, we are certified according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 quality standards.
